In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services. Any participation in this service will constitute acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
CloudBot provides users with the ability to store and retrieve encrypted text and files within the Discord platform. The storage occurs on a designated Discord server, and data is organized into user-specific categories and channels.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your Discord account and any master encryption keys or recovery phrases associated with the Bot if such features are implemented.
- All activities that occur under your account.
- The legality of the content you store using the Bot. You agree not to store any material that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
- Understanding that while the Bot employs strong encryption, no system is perfectly secure. You use the Bot at your own risk.
4. Data Security and Encryption
The Bot encrypts your data before it is stored using user-specific derived keys. The primary master encryption key for the bot is managed by the bot owner and must be kept secure. We are not responsible for data loss or compromise due to the loss or compromise of your Discord account, or if the bot's master encryption key is compromised through no fault of the Service itself (e.g., bot owner negligence).
You acknowledge that data is stored within Discord's infrastructure, and is therefore also subject to Discord's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy regarding data handling and availability.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Store or share any illegal content, including but not limited to, copyrighted material for which you do not have distribution rights, child exploitation material, or content that promotes violence or hatred.
- Attempt to circumvent the security or encryption measures of the Bot.
- Disrupt or interfere with the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation, including Discord's Terms of Service.
6. Modification of Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We may also revise these Terms of Service from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website. By continuing to use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall CloudBot or its owners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from the use or the inability to use the service.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms of Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of The United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
